Fort Dodge is the premier veterinary biological (vaccine) manufacturer in the world. The subsidiary company of Fort Dodge Animal Health in Spain is Fort Dodge Veterinaria S.A. Fort Dodge Veterinaria, S.A. located in Vall de Bianya/Olot (Girona), Spain, is a laboratory specialized in the development and production of immunological and pharmaceutical products for animals. The facilities of FDV include a modern manufacturing plant equipped with state-of-the-art technology that fully complies with Good Manufacturing Practice standards (GMP Certificate). The R&D Department has a new Biosafety Level 3 (BL3) laboratory with a team of 24 scientists, under the supervision of Dr. Juan Plana Durán. During the last years, the R&D Department of FDV has been involved in innovative 15 EU projects within the IV, V and VI Framework program.

Fort Dodge Veterinaria (FDV) is a laboratory specialized in the development and production of immunological and pharmaceutical products for animals. Facilities include a modern manufacturing plant that is GMP certified and a new Biosafety Level 3 (BL3) laboratory. FDV has a dynamic R&D Department composed of a 24-member team. FDV is a pioneer company in the field of research, development and manufacture of novel immunoprophylaxis products and vaccines. During the last years FDV has been involved in 15 EU projects within the IV, V and VI Framework Program.
