The business activity of Spectos GmbH relates to the development, implementation and maintenance of user-specific software solution for soft processes; for example quality assessment for international delivery services. A major strength of the technical instruments developed by Spectos is that ready-to-use tools support user-specific monitoring of spatio-temporal processes and libraries of process data via the WWW. The future research plans relate to improved separation of customer application and information retrieval from the generation and analysis of the data. Therefore, Spectos collaborates with outstanding research entities for example the Technical University of Dresden. Particularly, one direction of innovation focuses to the integration of process-oriented simulation of discrete scenarios beyond the communication of the users with the system.
Expertise
Spectos is a software company which develops and maintains user software for different kind of application in quality assessment, strategic evaluation of soft processes, and automation of consumer routines in process optimisation. Particularly, software solutions designed to enhance interactive application of process evaluation tools by the user through the WWW are on the research agenda of the participant. Actually, several online monitoring applications are offered for applied customers to evaluate in an automated and routine way process data occurring in huge numbers during every-day processes. The long experience of the participant in the realisation of user-oriented software joins perfectly with the company's interest to establish a framework to include process simulation in its service application.
